Waggin' Trails

Waggin' Trails is a fictional dog park brand that I created as a personal design exploration. I wanted to build a fun, approachable, and classic brand identity. As part of this project I designed a logo, business card, and packaging that reflect the playful spirit of the brand.

Overview

This project was about imagining how a brand can come to life across different applications. I created a logo, balancing bold imagery with a friendly typeface. I then carried that visual language into print materials and packaging.

Process

I started by sketching extensively. I ended up producing over seventy rough logo ideas before narrowing down to a handful of my strongest contenders. After refining these digitally, I selected my strongest design and began developing my color palette.

With my natural and outdoorsy color palette in place, I started to design my business card and packaging. To extend my brand beyond visuals, I created a product that could naturally fit within a dog park setting. I developed a tennis ball chew toy as a practical item that reinforces the brand's identity in the real world.

Outcome

The final product brings Waggin' Trails to life through a logo, business card, and packaging design. Each piece highlights a different side of the brand from its playful energy to its professional presence. Combined, each element creates a brand that feels both believable and full of personality.
